Tiktok Banned in USA by Trump tiktok graveyard wrapped
TikTok has announced it will stop operating in the United States starting this Sunday. Gulf News archives report that the app became unavailable late Saturday, right before a national ban was set to begin. President-elect Donald Trump could not address the issue before his inauguration.
Users trying to access TikTok received a message stating, “A law banning TikTok in the US has been passed. This means you cannot use TikTok at this time.”
CapCut, another app owned by ByteDance, has also stopped its operations in the US as the company has chosen not to sell its services.

TikTok informed its US users late Saturday that the app would soon be “temporarily unavailable” due to the upcoming ban. President Trump hinted he might consider delaying the ban.
The notification read: “We’re sorry to announce that due to the new US law against TikTok, our services will be temporarily unavailable starting January 19.”
